Vacuum Interrupter Tube, or Vacuum Interrupter Chamber, is an interrupter chamber that uses vacuum as the interrupting medium, also known as Vacuum Interrupter Tube. Its main function is to provide reliable opening and closing capability in power systems, especially in switchgear requiring high reliability and long life.

 

The design and working principle of the vacuum interrupter gives it excellent arc extinguishing performance. In switchgear, when it is necessary to open a circuit, the contacts in the vacuum interrupter separate rapidly, generating an electric arc. Due to the high insulation strength of the vacuum medium and the rapid arc extinguishing ability, the arc will be quickly extinguished, thus realizing the opening of the circuit.

 

Vacuum interrupters have a wide range of applications in power systems, including but not limited to high-voltage circuit breakers, vacuum contactors, vacuum load switches and so on. Its advantages include high reliability, long life, simple maintenance, and strong breaking capacity.
